这电影看起来和饥饿游戏是一类的电影，影片最后预示这游戏或者说这场测试还没有完，很有可能会出第二部。作为一部系列电影来说，要展开剧情，交代各种背景，至少花了三十分钟，这也是很多人说不好看的原因，不过本片后面相当精彩，各种机械与动物结合的怪物，迷宫里的追逐戏，都非常有看点。
